This assessment focuses on the gifts that are more visibly powerful than the others; we call them the manifestation gifts, found in I Cor. 12: 7-12. We see these as “tools” that are given by the Holy Spirit to empower believers for specific tasks. The purpose of the gifts is to bless others, not to be self-serving.
Although we believe the Holy Spirit can give any of these gifts to any believer at any time as needed, most people have one or more gifts that they operate in regularly. This assessment will help show what gifts you operate in regularly or have a potential to operate in.
We recognize that there are many different viewpoints on spiritual gifts and we plead for grace in this area. We believe all the gifts are valuable, but as Paul teaches in First Corinthians 13, love is more important than gifts, and is the basis for the exercise of the gifts.
